Maxis raise stake on its loss making unit in Indonesia
Maxis Communication Berhad has raised its stake in PT Natrindo Telepon Seluler by buying a further 44% interest(US$123.92mil), which gives them a 95% control in the Indonesian mobile operator.
On its latest net profit for the year ended Dec 31, 2006 , Maxis reported a RM196 million start-up losses in the operations of PT Natrindo Telepon Seluler (Natrindo).
